29 August 2024
We are delighted to announce that The Sewing Basket team at Caringbah has been awarded a grant from the Sutherland Shire Council Community Grants and Subsidies Program for 2024 to 2025.
These grants help support high-quality programs that connect and empower residents across the Sutherland Shire. The Council’s annual program provides financial support to not-for-profit groups that foster a connected, supportive, caring, inclusive, and engaged community.
The Sewing Basket team will use this grant to launch a new volunteering drive, focusing on recruiting volunteers from the Sutherland Shire community.
To celebrate this year’s successful applicants, the Council hosted a recognition event on Friday, 9 August at Elouera Surf Club.
We are excited about the opportunities this grant brings and look forward to hearing about the positive impact The Sewing Basket will bring to the community.
