Achieve Australia delivers Supported Independent Living (SIL) tailored to each person’s goals, preferences and daily routines. Support is coordinated across the site, with consistent teams and planning in place to ensure a smooth transition and stable day-to-day living.

How support works
Support is coordinated in line with each person’s NDIS plan and delivered across the site, rather than each home operating separately.
-
A shared model of active and overnight support across the property
-
Consistent teams who take time to understand each person’s routines and preferences
-
Clinical oversight and support for higher needs where required
-
Daily supports planned and reviewed to align with individual goals and funding

Living arrangement
The Richmond Street property includes a mix of High Physical Support homes, with a 4-bedroom home, 3-bedroom home, 2-bedroom home and a one-bedroom villa.
People can express interest as an individual or as part of a group. Achieve works closely with participants, families and referrers to ensure the right fit and supports are in place before moving in.
Compatibility of routines, support needs and communication styles is carefully considered when matching people within shared homes.

outdoor areas
assistance (OOA) room
People who want to live independently, on their own or with others, with support focused on daily living, mobility and ongoing care needs.
The home is best suited to people with higher physical support needs, with design aligned to High Physical Support, and may also suit some Fully Accessible participants where this model is a good fit.
This accommodation and support model is not intended where behaviours of concern are incompatible with a shared living environment.

In Casino, daily routines continue into the wider community. The Richmond River Scenic Walk offers quiet river views and easy paths for time outside, while the town centre is close for shopping, local outings and time with family and friends.
Being close to these places supports day-to-day routines, with easy access to outdoor spaces, local services and community areas around town.
At home, family visits, shared celebrations and time spent together help shape a home that feels warm, social and connected. Music, movies, footy and everyday moments add to that sense of home and make day-to-day life feel relaxed and familiar.
With an experienced chef on the team, shared meals are an important part of the day, with food prepared to a high standard and adjusted where needed.
When the practical details are in place, the focus stays on daily routines, relationships and feeling at home in Casino.
