Achieve’s passion is social inclusion for people with disability, and our purpose is to build extraordinary lives. We are guided by our principles of Living Inclusion, Elevating Voices, Engaging Practice, Growing Capacity, and Valuing Resources - sentiments reflected in the Focal Strategic Plan 2023–25.

We have a long history and deep experience in delivering and innovating centre-based and community access programs. Currently, we support more than 200 people through these services. Our well-established team and continued investment in program innovation position Achieve to sustain and enhance service delivery for the Focal community.

Achieve has successfully managed complex transitions for more than 400 participants across independent living, community participation, respite, and centre-based programs. We apply a turnkey transition planning and implementation model, with each team member accountable for maintaining service continuity, stakeholder engagement, and satisfaction throughout the transition.

We are committed to supporting people with intellectual disability to achieve more than they, their families, and the community may believe possible. With extensive experience, strong resourcing, and robust systems and safeguards, we respond effectively to challenges. We will support the Focal team with enhanced service delivery systems and capability, enabling clients to achieve their goals.

Achieve will provide the operational capability and systems required to ensure continuity of support, while offering ongoing employment to key employees. We recognise and value the relationships and expertise these staff have built with the people supported by Focal.

Achieve has a strong track record of sustainability and consistently performs well against sector benchmarks. We invest in quality, innovation, and culture, underpinned by a strong Board and leadership team. Our interest in Focal services aligns with our expertise, and we are confident in our ability to invest in their ongoing development.

Achieve will continue the legacy of Focal Community Services, whose journey mirrors our own - from volunteer origins, through de-institutionalisation and NDIS reform, to a deeply embedded person-centred approach.
