Inside, two generous living areas offer space to watch a favourite DVD, share a chat or enjoy some quiet time. A friendly pet bird adds character to the household, and a dedicated house van makes it easy to get to appointments or explore the coast. Because family and friends usually meet up in the community, the home itself stays calm and private, a perfect place to unwind after a day out.

Community and Activities 

Life in Coomera is all about getting outdoors and staying connected. The current resident likes to spend time at local parks, browse the library, wander through nearby shopping centres and meet his partner for lunch. Weekends often include beach trips, relaxed fishing sessions and the occasional beer with mates while swapping stories from his army days. Support model

This Specialist Disability Accommodation residence offers 24/7 active-overnight support from a skilled team of Support Workers who understand defence-service backgrounds and value inclusive, person-centred practice. Residents have seamless access to GPs and allied-health professionals in the community, with staff on hand to arrange appointments and transport. Individual behaviour-support strategies are in place to ensure that every person’s goals and preferences are respected.
