Achieve My Dream is a new initiative developed by Achieve Australia, designed to turn dreams into reality for the people we support. The program will take inspiration from what an individual has always dreamed to do or experience in their lifetime and aspire to make this possible. Achieve My Dream is funded through the generous donations of our corporate sponsors, members of the community and funds raised through the Annual Achieve Australia Golf Tournament.
The program will provide the opportunity to
- Empower people with disability to dream big, pursue their passions and achieve goals that they, their families and the community did not think was possible.
- Support people with disability to participate in a dream experience not otherwise available to them.
- Enhance the community’s understanding of disability and what people can achieve.
- Influence industry, government and the community to recognise the ability of all people to participate in, and make a unique contribution to, our society.
- Encourage greater inclusion for the people we support and improve accessibility in the community.
