Reflections of reality show us that every person sees the world through different life experiences.
As a person with lived experience of disability, I know that we all live alongside different types of disabilities and different levels of ability, each shaping how we move, think and feel a sense of belonging.
Art reminds us that people come from varied backgrounds, cultures and stories. This diversity is not unusual; it is a human phenomenon. Difference is an inevitability.
Like colours in different shades and tones, each perspective adds depth and meaning to our shared world. When we respond with empathy, compassion and a genuine willingness to understand, we begin to see not separation, but connection, dignity and our shared humanity.
