Life in Llandilo

The people at Llandilo love spending time outdoors. The property is lusciously green with walking tracks to explore and even a golf buggy to be chauffeured around on. You can often look out to see wildlife including kangaroos, parrots and ducks.

Whilst housemates at Llandilo often spend time doing their own thing, like going to hydrotherapy or spending time with family, there is a strong sense of community where everyone spends time together. Highlights are the Monday night discos and Sunday BBQs under the newly installed shade sail, picnics in the park and movie nights in.

Support model

Our support model includes 24/7 rostered awake shifts from Registered Nurses, Senior Support Workers and Assistant in Nursing staff. All staff are trained to implement each person’s behaviour support plan and tailor supports to their needs. We provide supports to promote community participation, such as for attending day programs, and family catchups.

The guys at Dundas enjoy a beautiful setting with nice gardens and vegetable patches, which they love to maintain. They are about to plant the garden for winter, and can’t wait to see what grows in the cooler months. The home features two lounge rooms, allowing everyone to socialise together or enjoy some quiet time separately.
